In my role, I spearhead health, safety and Wellbeing communication and compliance for subcontractors, clients, and tenders by controlling all safety processes, policies, and procedures. I also had the responsibility to boost workflow across all construction sites, ensuring transparency around internal health, safety and quality systems. Responsibilities include reporting and documentation processes, including monthly figure reporting, task observations, hazard reporting, and stakeholder reporting. As in my other roles, I complete incident investigations and reporting, as well as managed return-to-work requirements and processes. I planned, scheduled and handled external/internal audits, maintaining ISO quality management system integrity and accreditation. Key Contributions: Design and implement workplace, health, and safety initiatives across business units, as well as ensure company’s chain of responsibility obligations are met and maintained; Initiated Federal Safety Commissioner accreditation for federally funded civil construction projects. In this contract position, I earned federal compliance and accreditation for manufacturing workshop by integrating business systems, policies, and procedures, as well as designing management systems. In terms of workplace safety, I investigated incidents and reported to stakeholders, as well as facilitated federal compliance audits with RAWS importation scheme. I maintained processes and workflow across workshop, managing supplier network, purchasing protocols, inventory, local and international freight, freight accounts, and tender processes.
