I currently serve as my firm’s lead project manager in the Texas region, being responsible for business development as well as providing professional services across the state. Having served as a lead worker for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), coupled with my experience as a project manager at American Acquisition Group, I have over 7 years of experience in the ROW industry with a specialty in acquisition, relocation, and condemnation.I am very knowledgeable as well as proficient in negotiation, relocation assistance, as well as the condemnation process in the state of Texas, and have successfully provided these services for the acquisition of over 1,000 parcels. While working in the Dallas district for TxDOT, I developed a reputation for taking an innovative and fast-paced approach to my work, which played an important role in my working closely with the department’s leadership to develop and implement new practices aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the Districts ROW acquisition process. As the project load in TxDOT’s Dallas District began to increase at an intense rate, under my guidance our ROW office implemented new approaches that allowed the District to purchase property at an increased pace to meet stringent deadlines. Most notably, I was able to apply this process and complete acquisition for the high-profiled Southern Gateway Project located along IH-35 in Downtown Dallas, in under 12-months. Our performance on this project established new expectations for buying ROW in the Dallas District and set the tone for future projects. When I'm not juggling R/W projects, I am an avid sports fan and spend more time than I should glued to the tube watching whatever boxing or MMA event may be on that weekend. Football Sundays also occupy more of my time than I care to admit as does the constant refreshing of my fantasy football app hoping that more points will magically appear.
