Profile bio

About Patrick Wallace

From an early age, I knew I needed to be creative. Since graduating from Edinburgh Napier University's Acting for Stage and Screen Course with 1st Class Hons, I've worked professionally as an actor and director in stage, television, film and corporate productions whilst also delivering educational and team building workshop days for all ages and abilities. More recently, I've worked as a Voice Over artist, voicing and dubbing productions for clients such as Netflix and the BBC. This, and recording and playing music professionally, led to a fascination in how audio is created; how we can maximise space and sound to enhance quality. I currently work for Bespoken Media as a senior podcast producer, managing an array of clients, whilst continuing my freelance work. For six years, I worked at Glasgow Science Centre, in many roles. I was involved in the run up to and delivery of the COP26 Green Zone, which the Science Centre hosted, whilst producing two podcast series: the first, a five episode podcast series called 'Climate Conversations', which feature high profile panellists; the second, a series called 'Ignite' which inspires young people to get into science. Through the pandemic, I designed two exhibits for GSC about the Arctic lifecycle, and how vital this is; not only for the creatures that live there but the impact that changing ecosystems will have on humankind. I've also worked as a Customer Experience Supervisor at the Science Centre, and have extensive management experience - having led a PR team for Phil Macintyre Entertainments during the Edinburgh Fringe, and working as an Assistant Manager for a popular restaurant in Southsea, Portsmouth. I'm passionate about the arts, sport, coffee and the outdoors - and I love applying the skills I've gained in my creative career into other industries. I'm willing to throw myself into any project or industry that I feel I can make a difference in.

Listed skills include Theatre, Acting, Social Media, Music, and 24 others.
