🎓Patrick is a graduate of Parkway West High School in St. Louis Missouri, currently attending the University of Wisconsin Madison to pursue a computer science degree with an interest in the software engineering industry. 🏠Having went through elementary and middle school mostly in rural Chickasaw Nation Oklahoma, Patrick has lived through the struggle rural students face finding ways to explore the world through STEM. Patrick has also seen the difference in opportunities for rural and urban students after moving from state to state 5 times during his childhood and hopes to use his skills in tech to bridge the opportunity divides between rural and urban landscapes. 📚Academically, Patrick has achieved a high school GPA of 4.35 and an ACT score of 34. 🏊Athletically, Patrick has participated in many sports but adopted swimming as his primary. During 2023 Patrick’s state ranks in Missouri included: #21 in the 100-breaststroke, #33 in the 100-yard freestyle, #7 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, and #31 in the 200-yard individual medley.🚀Patrick has been highly involved in his high school's activities. He was the math club's vice president and was actively involved in the science club and Link Crew. Patrick has gained lots of experience with interpersonal skills through these clubs. ✏️One of Patrick's favorite endeavors is creative. He has been drawing since he could pick up a pencil and has had a passion for creativity and design ever since. He hosted a private art show at St. Louis Public Library exhibiting his works on physical mediums. He also designs Instagram posts for the math club and swim team and also designed the team towels for his swim team. Patrick is also musically talented, playing the trumpet since 7th grade and achieving many state-level awards.
