In my role as Operations Manager I was responsible for the production and budgetary control for the manufacturing site in Knighton, Powys. Part of my role was to apply modern manufacturing techniques to improve the efficiency of the plant and customer experience . In addition support other divisions regarding manufacturing and logistic requirements.Due to restructuring of the business I was given the opportunity to lead a project team to close the Knighton site and relocate the manufacturing requirements to other group sites.

Brierley Hill, West Midlands

My role was split into two where I was responsible for a number of manufacturing cells and the group logistics requirements. The manufacturing role was to manage a team of cell leaders ensuring productivity and continuous improvement plans were achieved. The logistics role was to manage the company fleet in addition contract manage external freight forwarders for Domestic, Europe and International freight requirements.
