I supported the dealer network for the entire US as well as providing sales, post sales/installation/integration and support. My position as a Data Center System Engineer consisted of building, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows/Linux web servers in the XO co-location data center. These data centers housed both customer and XO owned equipment. By creating an XO Intranet, I helped streamline many processes into a dashboard interface for everyday task. I was responsible for management and installation of both Thawte and Verisign certificates. In the event that management was out of the office, I would chair team meetings.

I built, maintained, and managed Citrix back end while working with developers to create working Application Service Provider (ASP) front end. In essence, ASP was the precursor to today’s cloud solution using Citrix as the delivery method.

Starting as a System Engineer while the company (Micro Visions) was young, I performed numerous functions around the sales, installation, support, and training of Citrix solutions. Micro Visions was the largest Citrix reseller in the US and later became Futurelink ultimately merging the collective brain share of the top seven resellers into one company. At Futurelink, I helped to build and maintain company data centers in both Co-location facilities as well as ASP hosted client solutions (Application Service Provider or predecessor to the Cloud) within Futurelink. Once the Data centers were built, I supervised Change management, customer integration into production ASP environment, and finally third level Technical support team.

Starting as a HP LaserJet repair technician for the largest privately owned HP reseller, I evolved into a computer technician and later into a Systems Engineer. I managed the technical aspects and logistics of Amercian Greetings CreataCard project. This included electrical modifications to CD ROMs and HP plotters. In addition, mechanical modifications were also performed on these plotters. I managed a separate warehouse and a million dollar inventory for the Homedco network integration project. My team and I would build entire networks that consisted of servers, workstations, comm servers, and multiplexers on racks. These systems would be signed off by a Homedco employee and then be shipped out the same day so a cabling company could install for a turnkey solution. Once we landed Taco Bell as our client, I managed every aspect of this integration project which refreshed Computers and printers for every Taco Bell in the US. Other responsibilities that I performed during my time with these companies include Service Manager, Integration Manager, Western Regional IT Manager and System Engineer.
