Systems EngineerCedar Computer/Cic Systems/Compucom Feb 1991 - Jun 1998Starting as a HP LaserJet repair technician for the largest privately owned HP reseller, I evolved into a computer technician and later into a Systems Engineer. I managed the technical aspects and logistics of Amercian Greetings CreataCard project. This included electrical modifications to CD ROMs and HP plotters. In addition, mechanical modifications were also performed on these plotters. I managed a separate warehouse and a million dollar inventory for the Homedco network integration project. My team and I would build entire networks that consisted of servers, workstations, comm servers, and multiplexers on racks. These systems would be signed off by a Homedco employee and then be shipped out the same day so a cabling company could install for a turnkey solution. Once we landed Taco Bell as our client, I managed every aspect of this integration project which refreshed Computers and printers for every Taco Bell in the US. Other responsibilities that I performed during my time with these companies include Service Manager, Integration Manager, Western Regional IT Manager and System Engineer.
