CurrentEvery shipment we do has a story behind it. The seafood we sell is produced in rural areas. Whether farmed or wild, the origin is generally remote, the destination urban. A significant amount of activity and interaction takes place to meet our obligations to suppliers and customers. Many people make their livelihood along the way - fisherman, or farm workers, plant personnel, freight suppliers, regulators, financial institutions, traders, laboratories, sustainability organizations, distributors, retailers, and chefs to name a few. Each transaction we do helps employ people. I take satisfaction in that.I feel fortunate to be part of this resilient industry and to see its ongoing evolution in environmental awareness and methods it employs. Our company’s role as a facilitator to agri-food transactions is one of the many critical links in its supply chain and the prosperity it provides to its many stakeholder.
