At the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, I was one of the main developers of the finite element/finite volume simulation software package EconDrop3D.Within the field of Mathematics I focus on- partial differential equations,- finite element method,- mathematical modeling,- numerical analysis,- functional analysis.As a student I always took classes of applied mathematics if possible and also took technical classes (electrical engeneering, signals and systems) as well as computer science classes (programming on microcontrollers, software reverse engineering, pattern recognition, ...).Team/Networking experience:-Interdisciplinary and international project "molecular communication systems" at FAU Erlangen.-Research training group 2339 ("interfaces, complex structures, singular limits") distributed over 2 locations, at FAU Erlangen and UR Regensburg.-International conferences, discussions with international guest researchers.-Assisting and organizing events, including supervision and leadership of teams of student workers.-Supervision of new young researchers within the work group.
