Working to ISO14971.• Responsible for Post Launch Reviews. Investigating product / process performance issues. • Responsible for ensuring that Design Control requirements meet the requirements of European Medical Device Directive and American Food and Drug Administration.• Providing leadership in Design Control process and actively supporting R&D in the translation of User Needs to Design Outputs, and undertaking Design Verification and Design Validation.• Undertaking Complaint investigations using Root Cause Analysis and Corrective or Preventive Actions (CAPA). Group Engineering Manager. Employed in the management of the day to day repair and maintenance of 22 Tesco superstores. • The role encompasses all aspects of estate and engineering management that allows the retailers to operate 24/7, 364 days a year. • This incorporates the Building exterior/interior, HVAC, refrigeration/electrical power generation plant, warehousing and support equipment. This also includes the Petrol filling stations. • The position includes the management and supervision of 15 mobile engineering technicians employed across a broad geographical region covering North/Mid Wales and West Midlands, along with the management of numerous specialist external contractors.• The role necessitates the prioritisation and rapid repair of faults, liaising with contractors, control of budgets, staff rotas and routine on call cover for 220 Superstores covering the whole Northern half of the UK, including Wales, Scotland and outer Scottish Islands.
