Assists departmental GIS users with technical support and coordinates software upgrades with the Information Technology department. Produces and maintaines online maps and map services. Creates map-based solutions that assist executive staff and decision makers in streamlining City processes. Serves on various City staff committees as needed, as well as serving as a member of the North Central Texas GIS Coordinating Committee, the Brookhaven College GIS Advisory Committee, and a participating member of the Texas Emergency GIS Response Team (TexasEGRT).

Assisted upper and lower level students in the GIS lab at UT Tyler while pursuing a graduate degree. Also worked on GIS projects for the university and for outside entitites such as the Tyler Independent School District and the UT Health Center at Tyler.

George Air Force Base, California

Served as project manager for communications-computer systems project implementations on George AFB, California. After the base was placed on the closure list, resulting in the cancellation of new projects on base, I transitioned to co-managing the base Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) inventory as well as serving as the STU-III (Secure Telephone Unit, 3rd generation) point of contact within the 2067th (later 35th) Communications Squadron. During mobility operations, I ran the base switchboard or was assigned to the Deployment Hangar where I processed base personnel for offsite deployment.
