Notable accomplishments for our team during this time included:-An independent survey released in April 2019 identified Invenergy as having the #1 brand reputation among 1,500 companies active in the North American renewable energy market, as measured by online and search, news media, and social media.-Established the annual Invenergy Impact sustainability report.-Worked with The New York Times on a feature story about multi-generational transitions within families from conventional to renewable energy jobs. The Times ran a front-page, above the fold photograph of an Invenergy employee working on top of a wind tower at one of our Texas projects.-Media mentions in top global news outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Economist, Bloomberg, and Axios.

Led Invenergy's Executive Office providing strategic and operational support for members of Invenergy’s Executive Committee and broader management team. Oversaw Invenergy's corporate communications, including brand strategy, media relations, employee communications, executive communications, and digital and social media properties.

Managed Clean Energy Trust’s corporate-startup matchmaking initiatives, sourced promising early-stage advanced energy technology companies and led public advocacy, including development of the Clean Jobs Illinois workforce report.

Provided full-time, pro-bono support for Committee Co-Chairs in the development of energy, utilities, environment, and natural resources policy recommendations.

Worked as a public affairs consultant to Fortune 500 and major non-profit clients across disciplines including campaign and project management, message and content development, crisis communications, advertising, media relations and social media. Clients included Exelon, Google, BMO Harris Bank and the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and industry experience included energy, utilities, technology, housing, finance, education and healthcare.

Managed Office of Communications workflows and drafted external communications content related to top Presidential priorities, including the Affordable Care Act, the State of the Union Address and the Iraq war drawdown. Managed logistics for events and meetings with the President and Vice President of the United States, Cabinet secretaries, senior administration officials and C-level leadership from the corporate and non-profit sectors.

Established correspondence system and best practices for processing 1,200 scheduling requests per month that were adopted across White House offices. Managed teams of 6 full-time interns. Directly supported the President at events across the country as an advance team member.
