CurrentAfter investigating many options I decided to manage the project. Applying a Business Analysis approach the following was accomplished: Feasibility study Engaged appropriate designers & engineers for planning Submitted and gained Development Approval Engaged architect to complete construction drawings Selected and clarified finishes, fixtures and fittings Submitted and gained Building Approval Completed a tender process to evaluate potential builders Secured finance for the entire project Sold and relocated the old house & cleared the land Engaged the builders Engaged inspectors & certifiers Supervised and managed the construction phase with the assistance of the builders site foreman Engaged Landscape Designer and completed the landscapingThe project has been completed within four weeks of our scheduled completion date, and two of the three townhouses were rented within a week of completion. The project has been completed within budget of $1 million, with very few variations to original plans, no major construction issues, and very few defects.
