My name is Patrick Williams. I am a corporate executive, investor, and entrepreneur based in Kingston, Jamaica.Currently, I am Vice President, Risk Management, Strategic Planning, and Information Technology at the ICWI Group Limited. ICWI is a leading general insurer in the English-speaking Caribbean, with its corporate office in Kingston, Jamaica, and offices in Cayman, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten, Dominica, and Trinidad and Tobago. During my time at ICWI, I have held many revenue-generating positions - CEO, Caribbean Investment Fund; Managing Director, ICWI Bahamas Limited; Vice President, Investments.From March 2015 to the present, I have been the Chairman of Salada Foods Jamaica Limited, a listed company on the Jamaica Stock Exchange, known as the only manufacturer of powered instant coffee in the Caribbean. I have served on the Salada Board since February 2012. Under my watch as chairman, the stock price has increased by a thousand percent.Since December 2015, I am also a director on the Board of Hardware & Lumber Limited, which is one of the leaders in hardware and agribusiness in Jamaica. Additionally, I chair the Finance and Compensation sub-committee.I am and director of Ideal Portfolio Company Limited and Ideal Finance Corporation since 2012 both are leading boutique finance and investment houses in JamaicaI also sit on the board of the University Hospital of the West Indies Private Wing Limited (Tony Thwaites Wing), a private ward situated on the grounds of the University Hospital of the West Indies. In September 2021, I was appointed to the board of Fairhaven Insurance Agency, based in Freeport Bahamas.I was born in Jamaica, raised and educated in Canada and the USA, I am a Caribbean man at heart. I have lived in Trinidad, Nassau (Bahamas) and Barbados is my second home. As a senior ICWI executive, I have negotiated the acquisition of several insurance companies all across the Caribbean. I have also consulted for Caricom Secretariate on investment in food security for Caricom in 2009. My base is Jamaica but my network is throughout the English-speaking Caribbean.I am a graduate of the Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York (MBA - Finance), Class of ‘89, and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from the University of Toronto, Class of ‘83. I am married to a Barbadian clinical psychologist and we have one daughter.
