As a senior leader with more than 30 years in the insurance industry, Pat is now leading Westland’s national Commercial teams through the implementation of Acturis, a major transformation project and strategic priority for the organization. He has considerable experience in commercial lines, including developing programs for specific sectors, BUA’s, complex risks and international placements. Pat has also managed personal lines and developed a HNW division. Pat has experience and expertise in sales management, budgeting, strategic planning, M&A and L&D. His formal training includes a Chartered Insurance Professional diploma from the Insurance Institute of Canada as well as a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker accreditation from the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada. A diligent contributor on many industry committees over the past two decades, Pat has sat on the Broker Councils of a many insurance companies and is a past Director and Executive Board Member of the Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia.
