Patrick was a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Insurance & Reinsurance Litigation and Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations practice groups. He also served as a member of the firm’s National Recruiting Committee and was the summer recruiting coordinator for the San Francisco office for five years. Patrick represented corporate clients in all aspects of complex business litigation, trials, and arbitrations. He represented a broad range of clients in all industries including insurance companies, banks, financial institutions, technology companies, healthcare companies, automotive companies, construction companies, and retail companies, in various areas such as contractual disputes, antitrust, employment, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, mechanic’s lien actions, environmental, healthcare, breach of fiduciary duties, and derivative actions. Patrick’s business litigation practice included extensive appellate practice and he represented clients before federal and state courts of appeal, as well as the California Supreme Court. Patrick has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeal.In his insurance practice, Patrick focused on complex insurance coverage litigation and counseling on various insurance programs, including general liability policies, title insurance policies, E&O policies, D&O policies, and financial institution bonds.In his business reorganizations practice, Patrick represented Chapter 7 and 11 trustees, particularly in preference actions and claim objections. He also represented various creditor clients before the bankruptcy courts.In 2013, Mr. Wong was selected for inclusion in the Northern California Super Lawyers–Rising Stars® list.
