Created as a direct replacement for the DBus Java package, the implementation provided a 20% performance increase across Android services utilizing the library.- Developer on a product variant with the overarching requirement being performance and platform improvements. Wrote a shared memory API to replace equivalent DBus method calls between Android services and Linux daemons. Speed per IPC call typically increased by over 100%. - Spent time with Android’s Dalvik VM layer to fix intermittent core dumps due to garbage collection. Provided multiple solutions, including modifications to the virtual machine for temporarily disabling garbage collection using JNI.- Designed and implemented web server prototype to provide E2E (End to End) communication between TCU (Telematics Control Unit) and a front-end user. Contained Google Maps integration and was written using a combination of C, Ruby on Rails and MySQL.- Primary developer for an in-vehicle wireless charging device using the Qi standard. Feature set included power management, usage of capacitance sensors, integration with Qi transmitter over I2C, communication over CANbus and a state protocol compliant with BMW specifications.

Discussions were also held on how to meet requests or requirements on how to best implement requirements necessary for future releases of the product.
