My role involves Project management including the installation of new equipment to drive efficiency, increase on current capacity where required and source equipment for new projects. Linked to this role is designing new production lines/factory plans and also overseeing installation and commissioning of new plant. I also oversee and manage Linwoods' new Ingredients business. We specialise in sprouted ingredients for the bakery and cereals industries. These include sprouted ancient grains, sprouted flours and sprouted seeds. This involves working with the team to manage the supply chain of raw materials, production planning and interfacing with customers to understand and fulfil their needs. I am also chairperson of the New product development team to develop new and differentiated product ranges. Successful product launches include Linwoods Hemp Protein+, Linwoods Active nut range and Linwoods range of Sprouted Oils and seeds. These are available across the organic, specialist and health store channels.Develop and implement the companies Environmental Policy of becoming a more sustainable business by reducing energy usage, reducing waste and exploring renewable sources of power.
