About Patrick Lee

I work in the Human Interaction Visualization Lab at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Dr. Carolina Nobre. I research interactive data visualization platforms for accelerating data analysis and discovery by bridging techniques in machine learning, LLMs, and UI/UX. I am currently building Teleoscope - a no-code AI platform for unstructured data exploration and insight visualization.I previously worked in various research groups at the University of British Columbia to better understand the impact of emerging social technologies on interpersonal connections and community building. I am particularly interested in work that intersects ethical design, qualitative methods, and rapid prototyping to better inform the nature of technological interventions for social use. I look forward to connecting with like-minded collaborators and opportunities!
