PCIe-based Rack Scale Architecture (PCIe-based RSA) I work on rack scale architecture (RSA) with PCIe solution based on the concept of rack disaggregation. In the design, each host is connected by high-performance and low-latency PCIe network, and all resources in the rack are unified to a resource pool, which consists of NIC, storage, and RAM. The advantage is the better resource utilization and independent upgrade for each resource type according to different upgrade cycles. In addition, to make full use of PCIe bandwidth, an Ethernet-like interface called Ethernet over PCIe (EoP) is developed. 1. PCIe network - global memory (global address space) 2.
