Presales Engineer Essential Functions- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customer's met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value.- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.- Utilize presales design and implementation expertise in 4G LTE wireless and fixed line WAN infrastructure environments.- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, network, and implementation resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements.- Field technical questions from prospects and clients.- Determine client requirements and provide network designs for complex managed services.- Consult with prospects to obtain requirements and for current Ventus products and solutions- Develop and grow technical knowledge base on the entire network infrastructure ecosystem.- Provide after sales support to installation personnel as needed to clarify service expectations, including providing diagrams, verbal explanation, and written documentation.- Provide technical training to new and existing Sales, Sales Support and Operational personnel.- Meet and exceed management targets for number of customer contacts, predetermined sales opportunities supported, and training completed.- Translate prospective customer requirements into recommendations for new or enhanced products and features.- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.Current Certifications (re-certification 6 times):- Cisco Certified Network Professional (routing & switching)- Cisco Certified Network Associate (routing & switching)Expired Certifications:- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer- Novell Certified NetWare Engineer
