UCC Engineering team is primarily responsible for the planning, design, and deployment of Unified Communications systems. Responsible for implementing and integrating on premise or cloud based solutions on a customer’s premise or remotely which include Cisco, Microsoft, Polycom, Pexip .The UCC Engineering team provides other forms of consultancy to include customized administrator and user training, adoption services, as well as system and need analysis .Essential Duties and Responsibilities :Design and support appropriate solutions based on existing environment, create detailed design documents, evaluate and test new and evolving technologies and performance .Collaborate with Project Managers throughout the implementation process Creation and maintenance of project and technical documentation and customer deliverable Deployment, Integration & Testing of UCC infrastructure Cisco, Microsoft, Polycom, Pexip Work closely with internal and external stakeholders including vendors on products and implementations as needed Strong Knowledge of NAS and Object Storage environments, structure and design concepts.Strong Documentation skills to include creating and updating detailed environment design, installation, and support documentation.Participate in key projects of client to provide recommendations and guidance for system migrations Provide basic project coordination for in-house projects to ensure they adhere to company policy, are completed on time and within budget, meet the deliverable's of the project while following change control procedures Development & Documentation of Customer Network Connectivity Design Development & Documentation of Services Deployment Model (Hosted/Managed) Research and plan an optimal upgrade or change strategies Work with Sales Engineers to ensure proper solutions are deployed based on corporate standards
