I handle a wide variety of general litigation matters, including commercial claims and insurance disputes. I also enjoy the courtroom. My trial experience reaches back to my time in law school, when I handled my first trial as a third-year law student. I believe a lawyer who knows the law, but cannot communicate it to others, is limited in his practice. I therefore take pride in my ability to communicate obscure legal concepts to clients, courts and juries. I was born in Dallas and raised in the rural town of Midlothian. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University. I then earned my Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, I competed in national mock trial competitions, served as president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Alumni Student Chapter, and helped found the St. Mary’s Tax Clinical Program.
