As a University Assessment Coordinator at University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, I have over 13 years of experience in promoting quality learning and faculty engagement through assessment. I have a background as a Psychology professor with interests in psychometrics and statistics, which enables me to provide assistance and consultation to faculty, staff, departments, and committees on planning, implementing, and using assessment of student learning to improve educational quality. I also lead the use of Canvas for our program level and general education assessment needs, creating useful templates, review mechanisms, and training resources. Previously, I headed the implementation and deployment of Taskstream for similar purposes. In addition, I work on a broad array of institutional research projects, such as career outcomes of alumni and community partnerships, and help to complete ad hoc requests. I maintain my connections with my discipline by occasionally teaching an online course in my scholarly interest of Positive Psychology.
