I lead a diverse engineering team consisting of one frontend engineer, two backend engineers and one QA engineer working across three time zones and two continents.Most recently, we built, launched and transitioned an overhaul of our document management system. This involved a new integration with partner PandaDoc, and a migration of more than 500K documents from a previous partner. Not only was this done with less than 25% of customer-facing bugs, but we also saw cost-savings of more than half for each document created as compared to our previous system.Since coming aboard, I also put into place engineering and process metrics to set expectations for engineering output, increase completion of sprint commitments to 90%, reduce time to approval for PRs, and increase frequency of releases to more than 12 per week.
