In this position I’m involved in many different aspects of the service operations for LG products like mobile phones, brown good, white good and air-conditioning. From the European Shared Service Center I support 16 European subsidiaries with their daily operation. As most of the repairs are handled by external parties my daily operation consist of analyzing the performance of around 150 external parties and find solutions to improve their performance. Next to this I focus on gathering and analyzing data to find and start cost saving projects. I finished my studies with my master thesis about entry strategies to the Japanese cut flower market. For this thesis field research was done in the Netherlands, China and Japan.

The committee of foreign affairs is responsible for organizing a study trip togheter with 4 other people we organized a trip to the Middle-East visiting Istanbul, Oman and Dubai. As a treasurer I was responsible for the budget of 35.000 euro.

After the bankruptcy of Wyt Gevaarsetiketten the company was taken over by Geostick. Wyt had a turnover of 1,5 million euro and only 1 employee. I was asked to map all processes and make sure Wyt got integrated in Geostick. Besides I became the second employee responsible for the whole business (procurement, sales, order handling, etc.) and for several weeks I ran the company alone. One of my projects was to analyze the assortment and thereafter open a new webshop. For this function a did a state exam; storage and handling of dangerous goods.
