I represent clients across all industries in intellectual property and complex commercial litigation involving claims such as trade secret misappropriation, trademark and patent infringement, breach of contract, and interference with contract. Some of my matters include the representation of:- A medical products company in an International Trade Commission investigation concerning alleged misappropriation of trade secrets by former employees.- A cable company defending claims of trade secret misappropriation by former employees.- A data center operator in a two-week jury trial, securing a complete victory on all claims and defenses, including alleged trademark infringement and alleged default under lease.- A Colorado municipality in defending an ordinance prohibiting assault weapons and large capacity magazines. - A homeowner services company against claims of misappropriation of likeness, resulting in Rule 11 sanctions against plaintiff’s counsel. - A media company in alleged breach of contract lawsuits in California and New York State courts, concluding in settlement. - A manufacturer of lawnmower equipment in a patent damages retrial.

My matters included representation of:- Electronics accessory manufacturer in breach of contract action against former distributors. Drafted winning motion to dismiss California unfair business practices act claim.- Media company in a software trade secrets case against former contractor. Participated in eight-day preliminary injunction hearing in Southern District of New York, resulting in complete cessation of competitor's business.- Waste services company in a breach of contract action concerning construction of a landfill gas-to-energy utilization plant where the plaintiff sought over $5 million in damages. Took and defended multiple depositions. Co-wrote winning summary judgment brief.- Member of litigation team challenging water discharge permitting action in administrative hearing before Office of Administrative Courts.- Pro bono: Represented Guatemalan victim of domestic violence in successful Ninth Circuit appeal, resulting in attorneys' fees. Part of pro bono team that obtained asylum for Guatemalan victim of domestic violence and her daughter.
