I head the NY Chapter of the National LGBTQ Journalist Association. We provide networking and professional development resources for journalists living in New York and the metropolitan area. We also provide resources to newsrooms for fair and accurate coverage of LGBTQ issues. NLGJA is a peer organization and is not an advocacy group.

Produce and oversee distribution of national and international news content for Fox NewsEdge, FNC's affiliate services unit serving 170+ stations across the globe.o Oversee production and distribution of domestic and international news to 160+ news stations.o Manage NewsEdge workflow making editorial decisions, assigning writers and editors, and reviewing content based on style, accuracy, and legal restrictions.o Produce day-of-air news packages, coordinating correspondents on location of news events.o Monitor and feed live video of breaking news from field crews across the globe.o Coordinate live camera positions during large-scale news events, most notably managing five camera positions at the Trump Campaign Headquarters on election night 2016.o Fulfill requests from local affiliate stations for video content for local news broadcasts as well as digital and social platforms.

I produced special projects for NY1 News, which incorporated live and preproduced specials, news and feature package producing, and working on a monthly 30 minute special specifically focusing on stories that involve STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) called "It Ain't Rocket Science"​ that aired on Time Warner Cable properties nationwide. In addition I produced custom branded content in relation to Time Warner Cable's Connect a Million Minds initiative and its content partners. I also worked in the field producing during coverage of large-scale and breaking news events and with special event coverage. Videographer for NY1 News, the 24-hour, hyper-local news channel that covers the 5 boroughs of New York City. I also worked at the assignment desk as a researcher and overnight assignment editor helping coordinate field crews and assisting in editorial decisions for coverage.o Field produce breaking news events and live coverage; including Hurricane Irene, the Anthony Weiner twitter scandal, and September 11th ten years later special coverage.

I shot, wrote and edited video and multimedia content for the Buckeye Online School for Success, an online public school in Ohio.

Developed new news initiatives in the newsroom, pitched enterprise stories and programs, and oversaw format changes. Provide editorial critique of content that airs on WOUB News.

Produced a 30-minute, daily evening newscast that is broadcast on PBS throughout Southeastern Ohio. From story choice, to blocking, writing, graphics and boothing the show, I was in charge of editorial production from start to finish.

Produce and anchor radio newscasts. Record and edit recorded newscasts using Netia sound studio and do live AM newscasts from studio.

Reported on local stories for WOUB-TV, the PBS member station in Athens, Ohio. Reporting in this small market requires a large amount of field production. I shot, wrote and edited packages for air on multiple programs including the nightly, 30-minute newscast Newswatch.

Assist producers with story research and field shoots, do camera work for talent, produce news stories for air during the season, produce video content for the web, log and ingest tapes using Avid media composer, and other general intern tasks.

I was part of the summer 2010 internship program at CBS News in New York City. I worked for the Channel One News Network during my time at CBS News.

I produced web content for the Ohio University Alumni Association's website. This paid position required me to travel to various alumni functions and interview alumni, edit the interviews in Final Cut Pro and then prepare the videos for the web.

The practicum for broadcast majors at Ohio University. We put on a 12:00 pm newscast Monday through Thursday working on every aspect of production from content creation, to producing, to video editing. All students are given a different job each day and are required to do each job at least once.

I assisted the assignment editors by answering calls, logged tapes, assisted producers with writing and proofreading of scripts, went out on shoots with photographers and conducted interviews.
