• Architected 80% of F5's world-wide customer-facing web systems, including their corporate site, knowledge base site, downloads site, customer support site, beta site, product configuration site, and product licensing sites. Also led or managed implementation, roll out, and maintenance of these properties.• Architected all F5's automated SOA callhome systems. These are services invoked by every appliance in the field and include: automatic software updates and product licensing calls. Also led or managed implementation, roll out, and maintenance of these services.• Architected and managed implementation of F5's internal content management system, AEM, which drives the F5 corporate web site, partner site, and public knowledge base. Specced out over a hundred new features and improvements to the stock CMS in partnership with business units, and supervised in-house developers and contractors through roll out.• Chose application frameworks and coding methodologies.• Partnered with business units to creatively co-author functional requirements, suggesting approaches and features based upon knowledge of the company's broader initiatives and goals. • Drove detailed technical requirements; decided most aspects of designs from database through middleware through network configuration (except firewall).• Managed implementation of SOA systems, client-server applications, databases, BIG-IP network gear, LINUX and Windows servers, on multiple data centers servicing over ten language sites.• Guided coding implementations, and performed code reviews.• Drove development and testing standards.• Worked with business units to effectively understand the company's needs.• Mentored team members in technical areas, design skills, and business unit partnership skills. • Guided dev and operations teams in maintenance of all web systems.• Used Scrum and Rally to drive projects and tasks in Agile methodology.
