Patrick is a keen and experienced technology & cyber security specialist, holding Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) & Certified Ethical Hacker (Master) certifications. With over 25 years of experience in the field, Patrick has built a high level of expertise covering a range of leading-edge technologies and solutions.In his current role, Patrick has introduced a comprehensive cyber security program and has successfully implemented ISO 27001 into the Covaler group of companies.In such a rapidly developing technical environment, Patrick has enjoyed the challenge of designing and building solutions that utilise the latest technical opportunities and products while still delivering a solid, commercially viable outcome for the client.Leading into his current role, Patrick was a Director (Founder) and Senior Systems Architected at Acceleon. Patrick helped start Acceleon in 2009 as a disruptive product and software development company in the financial services sector. Patrick helped grow the company from its initial two founders to over 20 fantastic team members before merging with Australian technology company Narratiive to form Covaler to continue the journey.Before that, Patrick was a Strategic Systems Architect at FCS Online, an Australian-based database and web services company and has previously worked for Logica and MITS as Software Architect, Project Team Leader, Analyst and Developer.Beyond the above-mentioned cyber security certifications, Patrick is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer, specialising in .Net technologies and SQL Server and has a First Class Honours degree in Mathematical and Computer Science from La Trobe University, Melbourne
