I joined this department of the bank when it was established in 2002 and helped develop the product and the proprietary internet platform that we used to effectuate receivables purchases. I was involved in more than $3 billion of transactions during this time with deal sizes ranging from $5 million to $250 million. We sold the securities to institutional investors - mostly insurance companies and pension funds. I was a key player in a team that built this business from a small player to a consistent top three player in the market globally.
