We needed to quickly establish the key and fundamental building blocks of the Hideo Wakamatsu brand in the UK and develop a launch campaign. I was responsible for developing the channels name, content strategy, brand-positioning, identity, OSP and became the Creative Director and Director of Programming. Under my creative leadership, in 2012, OH TV won Channel of the Year in three separate awards as well as awards for individual shows.I created the content strategy including production and acquisitions, Planning and scheduling, negotiated with unions and liaised with regulators. At The Royal Court I worked with the legendary, Royal Court Theatre New Writers Group where I collaborated with new writing talent including names such as Mike Bartlett who has gone on to write and produce Dr Foster.The two projects led to the development of multi-layered multi character drama. -
