Sr. Proposal Manager lead several Task Order proposal efforts including a $26 Million win supporting the USAR Lean Six Sigma Enterprise Excellence Services and IRS TIPPS-4 IDIQ.Did not work out here, so I moved on to EIS.

Led the reorganization of the Proposal Development Group for major defense contractor including: hiring personnel, training staff on proposal management best practices, reorganizing facilities, and upgrading equipment to double productivity within the first year. My Team won over $90 Million dollars in contracts in 2005. I personally performed as both Proposal Manager and Technical Writer on RFP responses for the following procurements: Operational Support Services at the Defense Distribution Center Cherry Point, North Carolina (value $48M)Program Management Support Services for Precision Strike Weapons Program (PMA-201) (value $15M)Program Office Support Services for PEO Littoral Mine Warfare (value $12M)Single Point of Entry for Operational Prototype at the Joint Strike Fighter Program (value $13.5M)Additionally, I routinely perform proposal editing, coordination, and management functions. Personnel under my direct supervision submitted an additional eight major Prime Contractor proposals and supported multiple Subcontractor proposal efforts.

I managed a staff of 12 personnel involved in customer service, technical writing, graphics artist, and cost estimating. Teams under my supervision won over $100 Million in Government Contract Awards for our clients. I also managed a network of 26 workstations, centralized printing, email, and Internet connection for entire company. Instituted many cost saving efficiencies to improve productivity while saving operating expenses. During this period of time, I personally prepared RFP proposal responses to major A-76 Cost Comparison Studies for Base Operation Support Services at Hanscomb AFB, Massachusetts and Camp Parks Reserve Training Center in California. Personnel under my direct supervision submitted an average of 100 Prime Contractor proposals per year for our small business customers.

Field installations, training, maintenance, and repair of imaging based medical equipment. Assisted in research and development of improvements to products. Authored technical manuals for maintenance and repair of equipment by third party technicians. Performed assembly of prototype models and managed initial testing of prototype equipment.

Installation, training, maintenance, and repair of imaging based microfilm scanning products. Provided sales support for customer demonstrations and trade show sales. Responsible for all support east of the Mississippi River. Maintained "on call" pager support to handle customer problems.

Engineering support for research and development of imaging based infrared fire control system. Provided assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair support to microfiche scanning project. Also, provided onsite support for installation, training, maintenance, and repair of equipment throughout the Republic of Mexico. Assisted Electrical Engineers with the design and layout of printed circuit boards and flexible printed circuit boards.

Assigned guard force of 20 Unarmed Guards post schedules and supervised work performance. Interviewed potential new hires. Managed regulatory compliance of all personnel.

Nuclear trained submarine qualified electronics technician responsible for safe operation of nuclear reactors for submarine propulsion.
