I oversee ISLG's work on the Criminal Justice Investment Initiative (CJII), a $250 million community investment project that has served over 34,000 people to date. This work includes grantee management and nonprofit training and technical assistance. I also oversee a smaller portfolio of work focused on investing in grassroots-led planning to address.

Greater New York City Area

• Program officer for three Social Innovation Fund (SIF) programs: Jobs-Plus, WorkAdvance, and Project Rise. Oversee program performance of eleven non-profit program providers in New York City, San Antonio, Cleveland.
• Facilitated submission of 50 reports to program funders.
• Provided program, contracting, and logistical support to start-up of New York City’s Connections to Care SIF-funded mental health initiative.
• Coordinated 2014 and 2015 contract continuation process for all SIF programs.
• Reviewed and provided detailed feedback on multiple drafts of three MDRC research evaluations of CEO’s SIF programs.
• Lead organizer on six major events focused on policy and programming, and played significant planning role in six others.

• Facilitated submission of 24 reports to funders. Played major role in development of renewals and proposals that helped CEO receive over $1.4 million in private SIF funding.
• Oversaw SIF Jobs-Plus program in New York City and San Antonio
• Wrote workplan for NYC Innovative Nonprofit Award and member of award submission evaluation team.
• Lead organizer for NYC Innovative Nonprofit Award event at Gracie Mansion
• Met with representatives from federal agencies including the Department of Housing and Community Development, the White House Domestic Policy Council, and the Department of Education
• Helped plan meeting agenda for 2013 SIF convening in Washington; led multiple discussion sessions

Baltimore, Maryland Area

• Organized Community Conversation event focused on workforce development in Baltimore, which drew approximately 150 attendees and received very positive feedback. Was main organizer of all aspects of event, including.
• Assisted in preparation of multiple federal HHS grant applications
• Wrote several policy blog posts, emails, and website updates

Greater Boston Area

• Key staffer in ensuring DHCD and grantees complied with American Recovery and Reinvestment Act federal reporting requirements.
• Administered Regional Foreclosure Education Centers grant program, working with community agencies and non-profits throughout Massachusetts.
• Coordinated development of Massachusetts 5-Year Consolidated Plan for HUD, which laid out the Commonwealth’s long-term housing and community development goals, as well as the development of Massachusetts’ 2008 and 2009.
• Member of logistical coordination team for transition of homelessness emergency assistance program to DHCD.
