Do it quickly, or do it correctly.I find that these are the two choices you have when doing a complicated job. As a CPA and Tax Supervisor at Boyer and Ritter, I wholeheartedly believe in doing a job correctly. No short-cuts. No same-old, same-old.Saving people money on their taxes and making tax compliance as painless as possible is what motivates me to get out of bed every day. Most high-net-worth individuals and business owners should concentrate on investing their limited time in their products or services. If I can help ease their burden of tax compliance in an ethical way with minimal effort on their part, this makes my job worthwhile.I pride myself on accuracy, accessibility, and an intuitive empathy for my clients’ needs. We are all sensitive to changes in our income tax situations, and because of this, getting it right the first time is paramount. I work primarily on income tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, C and S corporations, gifts, and nonprofits, and have some additional experience in multi-state sales tax compliance. Complementing my devotion to detail are my strong research abilities across a variety of platforms, which set me apart from other tax preparers. I am not afraid to think outside the box to promote process improvements. It’s not enough to just do it the same way as last year – it’s worth taking the time to find a better way.I came to Boyer & Ritter due to its sterling reputation as one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania. Management puts employees first, and it shows in the positive work culture and, by extension, in the outstanding work we do for our clients. On warm weekends, you can find me hiking the scenic trails of Pennsylvania, swinging a golf club, or going to the beach with friends. I also volunteer with The United Way, participating in such activities as the United Way Day of Caring.
