After the Launch of the application; I took ownership of the app in a lead role. Previously to the iPad, I worked on the high definition version of the IntelliStar product line which is used to display current, local weather conditions on The Weather Channel. I designed and implemented many of the internal systems including portions of the real-time rendering engine, the satellite transmission protocol, and the embedded management console and monitoring application. Finally, I investigated and fixed numerous performance and stability issues required to launch the product. -

Designed and implemented a data management framework to manage the large amounts of data needed to drive both the game’s User Interface as well as Gameplay elements. The data management framework included a custom written C++ embedded in-game relational database allowing the game to be as data-driven as possible. Combined many of the game’s existing rendering components into a complete object oriented UI solution. This solution supported multiple texture formats, bitmap fonts, vector graphics, flash animations, full screen video effects and data driven layouts to allow for a feature rich design. -
