Patrick Conway has spent the last fifteen years gigging all over the U.S. and playing every major folk festival and songwriter friendly venue in Texas and beyond. Highlights from his travels with his band include performances at the Americana Music Festival in Chicago, Kerrville Folk Festival, Old Settler’s Music Festival, Folk Alliance International, Fischer Festival, Minnesota State Fair and The Wildflower Festival in Dallas, as well as House Concerts and all of the wonderful listening rooms and grocery stores in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Patrick never turns down a gig for a listening crowd and tirelessly works to entertain when given a crowd and a microphone. With years of working in recording studios and with multiple releases under his belt, Patrick has currently finished a collection of songs to be released in January of 2024. The album is called "MERIDIAN" and is a celebration of and tribute to all that is important in his life. Love, Home & Family are some of the themes. "MERIDIAN" also touches on the inevitable, but beautiful... Loss. The album was produced mostly at home, late at night with everyone sleeping in his house, but features some amazing guest musicians on drums, violins, organ, backing vocals and saxophone. The name ENDELØS symbolizes the boundless nature of music. The spirit of this work and all of Patrick's work pays tribute to the concept of "Ubuntu"... which beautifully expresses the interconnectedness of humanity with the phrase “I am, because you are.”

As the Lead Sales Representative at Explorer Films, I represented 6 exceptional directors as well as the company's full service production team. Explorer Films is a motion picture and digital production company, producing commercials, branded content, and digital/interactive web content for agencies and businesses throughout the U.S.

As Sr. Video Production Manager at Demand Media (Leaf Group), I managed a team that was responsible for creating high quality web content at scale for websites such as eHow.com and LiveSTRONG.com. We managed large communities of freelance videographers, talent, and talent scouts across the country. Through a centralized dashboard, we directed the production process of matching talent with videographers, created video projects, reviewed and purchased final work, and published the content to our websites.

As Premium Video Production Manager at Demand Media, I produced content with larger budgets for LiveSTRONG.com and eHow.com and headed up the Video R&D team. I managed a team of creative people responsible for testing new formats, building graphics and program specific video assets and created guidelines for execution of this work to a broader community. I conceived show ideas, managed budgets, contracted third party producers, negotiated contracts with talent, produced and directed video.During this time, I also conceived, helped design and forwarded the creation of an elegantly simple how­to instruction cooking app titled “Cook Happy.”

As Video Production Manager at Demand Media, I recruited and managed a small group of production companies across the country responsible for producing 5,000 pieces of video content each a month. I also contributed strategically to the founding team in creating systems of operation to achieve our production goals. Since 2007, my team and I managed, produced and published over 280,000 short­form videos for eHow.com, LiveSTRONG.com, USAToday, Tyra Bank’s TypeF.com, San Francisco Chron, ExpertVilliage.com among many others. My focused work at this time was in sales, marketing, community building and management of third party contractors.
