The “Francofolies de Spa” is one of the biggest music festival in Belgium with around 170 000 visitors each year for 5 days. Created in 1994, the festival was inspired by the “Francofolies de la Rochelle”. It was a continuation of the “Festival de la Chanson Française”, a smaller event that occurred first in 1964 and lasted until 1983.The Photographer Team as the responsibilities to capture the images off the concerts, all organization infrastructure and the various related events like press conferences. The team is composed of around 10 photographers that work from 12:00 to 01:00, bringing more than 1000 pictures per day. Some of these pictures are used directly on the official web site and social networks. Others are used to illustrate the publication called the “Francoscoop” published daily during the festival. As the Photographers Team Leader my responsibilities are:Before the festival• Recruits photographers for the team;• Setup the work place for the photographers;• Plan the activities of the photographers to cover a maximum of concerts and events (between 120 and 150 concerts or events during the 5 days);During the festival:• Check and rectify all metadata associated with the pictures.• Produce and dispatch around 3 downsized and watermarked pictures for each concert or event to the social network management team.• Deliver the daily produced pictures to the “Francoscoop” publishing team.• Respond and provides pictures for the press media.

Technicolor is the world’s largest manufacturer of Blu-ray and DVD products, offering end-to-end supply chain management services to Hollywood studios, independent content owners, game and software publisher. Technicolor Schifflange was (the company closed the Schifflange production site on 06/07) was one of the production site employing around 200 peoples.The IT department at Schifflange was composed of 4 peoples including myself: The head of department (also responsible for the software development activities), the IT infrastructure responsible, a junior support technician, a developer.As IT Infrastructure Manager, I was responsible for:- Management and the support of all desktop and laptop computers.- Management and of the local servers including Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server and file storage.- Management of the network including specific security access control and VLANs for sensitive information like media assets (Cisco hardware – 13 Switches – 264 Fast Ethernet ports – 68 Gigabits ports, 2 VLANs, STP).- Management and support for the phone system (Avaya) with around 200 desk phones and 50 wireless phone (Ericsson).- Managing the WAN access and VPN connections.- IBM AS/400 support.- Virtualization solution analysis for a DRP project (VM Ware ESX 3.0)
