I was simply a territory manager for this company which represented several power transmission companies. We did business with mostly distributors but companies that manufactured product as well. A typical distributor would be the big three national chains such as Motion industries, Kaman and Applied Technologies, but also I was able to obtain several pages in the international company Grainger with their corporate facility in Chicago.

Developed concept for online and brick-and-mortar boutique nautical-themed home furnishings store.Developed program with manufacturers to drop ship directly to customers to minimize overhead and nationwide white glove delivery system to add perceived value.Worked closely with programmer on search engine optimization to achieve top-twenty "hit" position out of as many as 500,000 companies and obtain in excess of 6,000 on-line subscribers.Established relationships with event planners and smaller retail stores to increase sales.Prepared payroll, schedules and budgets and managed inventory, shipping and supplies.
