Support the development of Underwriting guidelines, procedures, and manuals for professional, management, technology and cyber.Analyze effect of relevant legislation on policy coverage, and draft necessary changes and additions to policy wordings and underwriting guidelines.Direct the training and development of Regional Underwriting staff members. Provide technical expertise and advice regarding professional, management, technology and cyber products, systems, and processes.Define the product strategy and roadmaps for professional, management, technology and cyber productsDevelop the core positioning and messaging for the products with the assistance and direction of marketingBusiness planning initiatives to ensure success and work with regional management to achieve alignment in revenue and profitability planning Create underwriting frameworks, guidelines and policies to ensure profitable underwriting results across all regionsDrive the development of Audit questions and reports; providing oversight of underwriting practices in the Regions to support strategies and organizational strategic imperatives.Collaboratively sets pricing with actuarial to meet revenue and profitability targetsDevelop sales tools and collateral with the assistance and direction of Market ManagementBrief and train the regional management and distribution at selected intervalsCoach, mentor and direct staff and evaluate staff performance in relation to standards and progress toward achieving individual and organizational objectives.
