Provided practical safety, risk and workers’ compensation solutions to specialty products plants manufacturing a range of innovative paper, plastic and packaging materials. • Achieved a 57% reduction in the injury frequency rate by collaborating with onsite management teams to identify risk, implement/validate controls, develop proactive teams, and build a strategic and engaging organizational culture. • Strengthened the capabilities of management and production team members through active coaching, mentoring, and improvement of learning systems. This increased their safety, risk control and disability management skills, as well as their ability to lead and power to influence. • Guided each plant in developing their safety systems in alignment with the corporate vision and requirements by advising plant leadership on program development, technical safety and health topics, risk auditing, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. • Planned and led an annual multi-day strategic health and safety conference attended by senior leadership, managers and employees from across North America.
