Starwood employs over 180,000 people over 1,200 properties worldwide. As director of sales and marketing, my role was to lead team in achieving sales and profitability objectives, increasing market-share from luxury and business travel sectors as well as increase revenue from business events. I was also the acting general manager.

The Montreal DMO association, boasts over 800 members and tourist industry partners. Its’ role is to enhance Montréal’s visibility as an urban destination of choice. It provides leadership in the concerted efforts of hospitality and promotion in order to position Montréal on leisure and business travel markets, and also develops Montréal's tourism product.As Manager of Conventions and Meetings, I was responsible for generating revenue from International Business Events for the Montreal region; deployed on North American Financial Markets as well as US East Coast associations. I actively pursued large-scale conferences of 800+ delegates securing profitable business events revenue for the city and our members.
