Responsible for all R&D lab related activities in inks and coatings

I am working on extending proprietary Oce toner ink technology towards new industrial printing applications. Activities focus on evaluating and defining the application requirements, ink development to meet applications requirements, and engineering ink to prepare for industrialization.

Together with my team I am working on the Océ propietary CrystalPoint technology. I am responsible for guaranteeing the high quality of the current toner and for developing new toners based on CrystalPoint technology with additional features and added value for future applications.

I have been involved in exploring new possibilities for ink jet technology within Océ. I have participated in feasibility studies as an expert on ink and toner technology. I have been working with two different teams. First on ink development and later on the development of a new printing process based on ink jet technology.

I have been responsible for developing an alternative production technology for dry toners. I have initiated these developments within the Océ Research department. Together with my team we delivered a new production technology that I transferred personally to our Development department. Within the Development department I have been able to prove that our new technology was a viable alternative for the state of affairs conventional toners.
