As director corporate development for Mediahuis, I’m responsible for the strategy and further growth of Mediahuis on marketplaces in Belgium, The Netherlands, Ireland and Luxemburg. At this moment, these marketplaces are active in recruitment, real estate and car market (in the broad sense).Besides that, I'm responsible for investing in companies that want to scale in Europe or abroad, with a clear focus on real estate data, recruitment marketing and marketplaces for flex-workers.We are looking for long-term investments starting from Round A, but also full acquisitions of companies are a possibility as are Joint-ventures or other type of cooperations.I’m open for new innovative ideas in the triangle Markets – Products – Money flows. And afterwards implementing them with small flexible teams.20+ years of experience in business management, ICT and product development helps me selecting the ideas, implementing them and consulting others in doing so.I have an analytic mind, open for new ideas and like to be a pragmatic do’er when executing.And above all, I love to work with people, learning from them and adding value where possible myself
