As assistant informatica, I’m responsible for the maintenance of all Oracle related systems at the Flemish Parliament.This includes:• Setup, configuration and administration of the Oracle Database farm (including Oracle DataGuard)• Administration of RMAN database backups and Application Server backups• Setup, configuration and administration of the Oracle Application Server farm (Apache, J2EE, Forms, Reports and Discoverer)• Setup, configuration and administration of the Oracle Identity Management stack (OracleAS SSO and OID 10g/11g combined with Oracle Access Manager 11g)• Setup, configuration and administration of the Oracle Fusion Middleware 12c farm with Oracle WebLogic and Oracle HotSpot JVM in the back, including migration paths from OracleAS to Oracle Fusion Middleware• Integration of all Oracle stacks with the current Nagios and Oracle Cloud Control monitoring system• Performance tuning and monitoring through Oracle Cloud Control, including custom Cloud Control extensibility plug-ins of entire Oracle infrastructure• Setup Nagios monitoring environment for the entire Oracle and non-Oracle infrastructure• Upgrades and patches of the Oracle Fusion Middleware and Oracle Database farm• Operating system specific administration of the Oracle infrastructure; mainly Linux driven – Red Hat and Oracle Enterprise Linux - with a few additional Windows machines• Setup and administration of VMWare ESX farm • Establishment of security policies and high availability requirements• Architect of server consolidation, virtualization and central storage implementation (NetApp)• Administrator of Omnitracker ITSM and Project Management modules
