Served as a Battalion Assistant Operations Officer, responsible for planning, synchronizing, and executing realistic and challenging training in order to develop a cohesive, combat ready fighting unit prepared to deploy, fight and win anywhere in the world upon notification. Co-leads the staff in deliberate planning processes in support of battalion and brigade operations. Provides timely and accurate fires in close support of maneuver forces. Coordinates and supervises the execution of the mission, training, and support tasks. Served as Battalion Battle Captain during multiple major Brigade Level Exercises.

Lawton, Oklahoma Area

Served as Battery Executive Officer, and Battalion Operations Officer for a Basic Combat Training Brigade. As a Battery Executive Officer, assumed Command for 27 days during key Basic Combat Training operations without incident. Improved an existing program that allows for family members of Basic Trainees to help bridge the gap between the civilian and military lifestyle. Resourced Battery training events, and sourced the safe distribution of 932 hand grenades, 281,000 small arms rounds over the 30 live fire training events. As a Battalion Operations Officer, resourced all Battalion training events. Selected to edit the Battalion SOP, which is still being used. Effectively and efficiently developed a tracking system that allowed for the fluid identification and dissemination of all tasks that were received from Higher Headquarters.

Dongducheon, Gyeonggi-Do, Korea

Served as a Platoon Leader, Battery Executive Officer, and Battery Operations Officer during my time in the Republic of Korea. As a Field Artillery Officer I managed, supervised and led teams of 3 to 120 people. While serving in the Republic of Korea, I participated in two joint US/ ROK exercises, where I served as a Battery Fire Directions Officer, and Battle Commander. Supervised the repair and maintenance of $20 million of government equipment. Assumed Command of two different Battery's for a total of 31 days. Recognized by the 2nd Infantry Division Deputy Commanding General for Support for successfully overhauling the maintenance program within assigned Battery.
