Openmind Networks provides innovative mobile messaging products and services to over 70 customers across Europe, Middle East, Asia, North America and Africa.At Openmind I was responsible for the delivery of customer facing projects, solutions and services.This included all aspects of the customer journey from solution design through project deployment and acceptance to 24x7 customer technical support.These services were provided to a global customer base through DevOps and a continuous software delivery model.

Equiendo is an innovative mobile network solutions company that provides cloud-based software applications and services to enable Mobile Network Operators manage their network more effectively.I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. This included the delivery of professional services and project services to customers, and the management of the solution delivery and software development functions.

Jinny Software is a global provider of Mobile VAS infrastructure, Mobile Advertising and Diameter Signalling management solutions. Jinny’s 75+ customers are spread across 70 countries and include mobile network operators, virtual network operators and enablers, as well as other enterprises.At Jinny I was responsible for the day to day running of the company’s operations across the globe. This included the management of 75+ customer accounts, delivery of professional services, deployment of customer projects, and 24x7 customer technical support. These services were provided from offices in Ireland, USA, Brazil, Malaysia, Kenya, UAE and Lebanon.

Lucent established an Integration Centre in Dublin in 1999 to supply Remote Access and Digital Subscriber Loop (DSL) switches. This later expanded to include Optical Networking products and Wireless Local Loop products.I led the Engineering team that was responsible for product, test, supply chain and customer quality engineering. This included a very significant outsourcing program – largely to Eastern Europe and Asia.In 2004/ 2005 I had a lead role in setting up Bell Labs Ireland (research division of Lucent) – a supply chain focused research centre – partnered with a number of Universities and supported by Lucent, IDA and SFI.

Responsible for running the manufacturing operation based in Drogheda. We manufactured optical networking switches and a wireless local loop product. I had direct responsibility for manufacturing, engineering and quality.

I led team of engineers responsible for the software development of test systems for RF products. During this time I led the implementation of structured software development methods achieving CMMI SEI level 3.

I was part of a software development team responsible for the development of test systems for RF products. These systems were developed in C on a UNIX platform.
