Patrick Dinkel most recently served as the Vice President of Strategy and Risk for Arizona Public Service Company (APS). In that position he was responsible for corporate strategy, enterprise risk, insurance, industrial safety, health services, and corporate physical and cyber security. Based in Phoenix, APS is Arizona’s largest electric company and serves more than 1.2 million customers across the state.Dinkel has a valuable background leading a diverse set of disciplines. He joined APS in 1986 and spent the first 15 years of his career in corporate finance gaining experience in planning, strategy, and budgeting. Before accepting his current position, Dinkel served as the Chief Sustainability Officer, the vice president of the Transmission and Distribution, and the Vice President over Marketing, Trading, and Resource Planning. Dinkel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Marymount College of Kansas and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northern Arizona University.
