Major Accomplishments:-Build, implement, and maintain machine learning models for forecasting conversions using with python libraries like SKLearn, XGBoost, and Pandas. This used both regression and classification models, as well as implementing a NLP model to create additional features from text data used for forecasting. I also implemented time series forecasting models with FBProphet.-Build and maintain financial tracking system for the entire company using Google BigQuery and Tableau. This system saves 10 hours of work per week of manual labour, reduces errors from manual calculation and also frees up the data team to work on other tasks.-Create and maintain ETL pipeline using Bigquery. This pipeline provides data for all the dashboards in the company, and over the past year has seen a 30% increase in processing speed owing to my optimization efforts.-Develop dashboards to monitor company-wide KPIs and guide growthThe dashboards were used to monitor impressions, clicks, claims, and CTR for our ad performance. They lead to better efforts in testing and development, as they helped prioritize our key user demographics.-Ensure data quality and freshness throughout the pipeline by creating alerts Alerts notified us of any breakdowns in our pipeline and maintained accountability for the data.-Investigate and implement database optimizations, improving data processing speed and lowering overall costs using Google Dataform.This reduced the time to manually trigger updates or refreshes by an hour a week and also lead to a 20% increased performance in dashboard loading time. -Increases development velocity by improving the quality of the data and the amount of cleaning needed to produce useful dashboards and analyses.This sped up the process of developing new dashboards and the trust of the data, as stakeholders received reliable reports at a faster pace.
