These branches are the Texas Army National Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and the Texas State Guard. Combined, these organizations constitute over 20,000 full and part-time Guard members. Along with the Texas Department of Public Safety, it is charged with providing for the security of Texas. Army and Air Force National Guard units within TMD are also responsible for mobilizing to support Department of Defense missions when called upon by the President of the United States.Executive Director of the department in the TMD Headquarters that oversees Joint and Professional training programs for the Adjutant General, servicing over 20,000 National Guard Members. Also responsible for creating strategic assessment products for the Texas Military Department and the input of assessment results into collaborative databases of record managed directly by the Department of Defense. Commander of a Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) emergency response Task Force. Chief officer and leader of the joint unit of Army and Air Force personnel with an assigned emergency response role to augment civilian emergency responders in the case of a large man-made, terrorist attack, or natural disaster. Responsible to project the capabilities of mass decontamination, technical (responder) decontamination, urban search and rescue (in HAZMAT conditions), medical triage and fatality recovery within 6 hours of a formal request in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Directly responsible for the training, organization, and equipping of 450 people assigned to the task force.• Responded with the full capabilities of the task force in under 24 hours to humanitarian response during Hurricane Harvey.• Led the unit to the most successful full-scale evaluation in its history.• Pioneered techniques and operating procedures that were adopted nation-wide by other task forces.• Became the CBRN Response Technical Working Group chairperson for the entire National Guard.

The 176th Engineer Brigade is a multi-functional Army Engineer headquarters capable of managing multiple battalion-size units in domestic and overseas engineering operations.Officer in Charge of a planning staff responsible for the entire engineering effort produced by over 5,000 Army, Navy, Air Force and Afghan Army soldiers supporting Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. • Organized and supervised staff efforts to produce long-range plans, studies, and products in coordination with multiple agencies and several foreign governments.• The organization managed the greatest amount of completed construction, facility transformation and combat operations seen to that date in Afghanistan.• Supervised the small team that initiated entry for the unit into the Afghanistan theater of operations.

SkyDrill was a start-up in the renewable and alternative energy sector. SkyDrill developed unique alternative and renewable energy systems for use in an urban environment. Afterwards, I managed various organizations before deploying to Iraq as a Company Commander responsible for over 100 hundred soldiers in daily combat operations. I was then re-assigned as the Officer in Charge for an organization of over 800 people, managing the day-to-day activities of the organization and a staff stationed at four separate locations in Texas.• Merged together human resource requirements from disparate organizations to create a coherent and accurate roster of over 1,000 people who had to be moved by air, with equipment, from Texas to Kansas and back.• Designed and implemented the first-ever census of population and living conditions across four small communities in Iraq to deliver security, humanitarian aid and community improvement projects.• As a broadening assignment I participated in a bi-lateral military exercise with the Japanese Defense Force, operating from a Japanese military base in Osaka, Japan.

The company provides environmental permitting and compliance; soil and groundwater investigation and remediation; risk assessment; information management; quality assurance and control; and training.First as a paid Intern and then as a Civil Engineer, I worked on multiple geotechnical and environmental projects. Some projects included forensic investigation of failed geotechnical or foundation designs, and environmental remediation at Superfund sites.• Worked extensively on the design approval of landfills for both the City of Irving and the City of Grand Prairie.
