With over 10 years of experience in the medical device industry, I am a passionate and visionary product leader with a mission to improve the lives of patients. I have a strong background in product strategy, user experience design, and deep learning applications, and I am currently the Head of Product at INSIGHTEC, the world leader in focused ultrasound technology and innovation. At INSIGHTEC, I work cross functionally with a talented and diverse team of product managers, engineers, and designers to create cutting-edge solutions for incisionless neurosurgery, with the potential to transform the treatment of brain diseases and conditions. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of millions of people around the world, and to collaborate with leading experts and partners in the field of neurology, radiology, and surgery.In my most recent role as Product Director at Surgical Theater, I designed and created user experiences, leveraging deep learning algorithms, to automate the process of converting medical scans (MRI & CT) into 3D patient-specific models, that are viewed in an augmented reality shared experience. This enabled surgeons and patients to interact with the 3D models and plan the best surgical approach, enhancing patient education, engagement, and satisfaction. I also managed the development of innovative products, such as the spine segmentation algorithm for Magic Leap's augmented reality device, and the ST360VR app for iOS, which allowed users to access and explore the 3D models on their mobile devices. I have acquired multiple skills in medical devices, product management, and cross-functional team leadership. I am always eager to learn new technologies and methodologies, and to apply them to create value for the customers and the organization.
